Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout has dealt with injuries for the past several seasons, but he began this year healthy so far. However, that took a turn against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday.
Trout had to leave the Angels game after he was hit by a pitch in his left hand during an at bat. Trout was clearly in discomfort, and while he went to first base initially, the Angels coaching staff took him out of the game as a precaution.
Trout has appeared in all 10 Angels games this year, including all but one in the outfield. Here's what happened to Trout on Sunday.

After the game, manager Kurt Suzuki told reporters that Trout's x-rays came back negative, so it appears that the veteran outfielder avoided the worst possible outcome.
