Who should be the Nashville area's early season TSSAA softball player of the year? You get to decide.

We whittled down our list of top players in 2026 down to a select few candidates. Vote for your favorite choice in our poll below.

Lily Norman, Coffee County, Sr.: Norman, an MTSU signee, finished with a 1.79 ERA and 230 strikeouts last season. She also batted .398 with five home runs, four doubles and 23 RBIs.

Amelia Richardson, Davidson Academy, Sr.: Richardson, a North Alabama signee, went 20-6 in the circle with 230 strikeouts and 48 walks in 152.1 innings. Her ERA was 1.74. 

Coralee Grove, Dickson County, Sr.: Grove batted .580 with five home runs, 73 hits, 30 RBIs and just four strikeouts. In the circle, she struck out 211 with a 2.05 ERA in 146.1 innings pitched.

Madison McHenry, Donelson Christian Academy, Jr.: McHenry, a College of Charleston commitment, batted .461 with 12 stolen bases, 15 home runs and 59 RBIs. 

Madison Davenport, Eagleville, Jr.: Davenport batted .467 with 43 hits, six doubles and six home runs. She struck out 131 batters in 117 innings. 

Brooklyn Jones, Goodpasture, Jr.: Jones, a College of Charleston commitment, batted .556 with two triples, 18 runs, 12 stolen bases, 48 RBIs and one strikeout in 101 appearances. 

Callie Dillard, Gordonsville, Jr.: Dillard hit six home runs with 24 RBIs while striking out 76 in the circle with a 1.73 ERA.  

Avary Stockwell, Green Hill, Sr.: Stockwell, a Tennessee signee, batted .695 with 25 home runs. She finished with 58 RBIs, 35 walks, 57 hits, 18 doubles, one triple and just four strikeouts.

Irelynn Beecham, Henry County, Jr.: Beecham went 16-2 in the circle with 131 strikeouts, 32 walks and a 1.93 ERA. She also batted .420 with 10 doubles and 32 RBIs. 

Kaylor West, Liberty Creek, Sr.: West, a Western Kentucky signee, helped lead Liberty Creek to its second straight Class 2A title. She had a 19-1 record with a 1.51 ERA and 181 strikeouts.

Mia Brauss, Lipscomb Academy, Sr.: Braus averaged .405 with 30 hits, five home runs, and 24 RBIs. She also went 11-3 in the circle with 135 strikeouts and a 2.57 ERA.

Ava Lastovka, McEwen, So.: Lastovka struck out 261 batters in 138 innings with a .862 ERA. She also batted .351 with four home runs. 

Chloe Younggren, Mt. Juliet, Sr.: Younggren batted .582 with 23 home runs, 62 RBIs, 16 doubles and four triples. 

Anna Johnson, Page, Jr.: Johnson batted .438 with six home runs, 24 RBIs, nine stolen bases and 11 walks.

Audrey Cathey, Summit, Sr.: Cathey, a Missouri commitment, batted .495 with six home runs, 35 RBIs, 18 singles, 17 doubles, nine triples and 52 runs scored. She was 10-of-10 on stolen bases and had a .922 fielding percentage.

Kylie Norvell, White County, Sr.: Norvell, a Belmont signee, batted .585 with seven home runs, 17 RBIs and five stolen bases in 22 games.
