Iowa basketball seed, opponent revealed for NCAA Tournament bracket
· Yahoo Sports
The wait is over! It is time for the NCAA Tournament, and we finally have a bracket telling us where the Iowa Hawkeyes are playing and who they are taking on. After a long and winding season, the Hawkeyes enter March Madness with a 21-12 record in Ben McCollum's first year as Iowa's head coach.
While Iowa stumbled a bit down the stretch, they put together an entire body of work that was nothing short of NCAA Tournament-worthy, and are being rewarded as such. This is Iowa's return to the field of 68, as its last trip came during the 2022-23 season.

Iowa has drawn a No. 9 seed and will be taking on the No. 8 Clemson Tigers of the ACC, who hold a record of 24-10, in Tampa, Florida. Should Iowa advance, a spot in the Sweet 16 would be up for grabs against either No. 1 seed Florida or a pair of 16 seeds, Prairie View A&M or Lehigh, who will meet up in the First Four.
As Iowa gets ready for its first NCAA Tournament game, check out the Hawkeyes' entire region.
