Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament extends invite to Wisconsin
· Yahoo Sports
While the Wisconsin Badgers women's basketball team wasn't able to go dancing, its season is still alive thanks to the WBIT.
Come March 19, the Badgers will travel to Corvallis, OR, which coincidentally is the same state the men will be playing in for the NCAA Tournament.

Wisconsin's 13-17 record wasn't good enough to let the team host a game, so it'll play at an Oregon State team that finished the season 23-11.
The Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament features 32 teams and follows the traditional March Madness style bracket. The bottom half of the Badgers' bracket includes Miami (FL), which will be taking on Georgia Southern. The Hurricanes' season ended with a 17-14 record, but they were chosen as a host team against a 23-7 Eagles squad.
March isn’t over yet.

Wisconsin thought their season came to an end in the B1G tournament when they fell to Illinois, 82-70. Even though they've lost 10 games in a row, the WBIT gives them one final chance to end the 2025-26 season on a high.
