Indiana Fever have a surprising addition to injury report ahead of Chicago Sky

INDIANAPOLIS — Sophie Cunningham is questionable for Indiana’s game against Chicago on Thursday with an elbow injury, according to the Fever’s day-before injury report.

It is unknown when Cunningham suffered the injury. She practiced as normal in the portion open to media Wednesday.
This is the first time Cunnningham has appeared on the injury report this year following her season-ending MCL tear in 2025.
Coming off the bench, Cunningham is averaging 8.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 23 minutes per game.
Fever guard Caitlin Clark is also probable (back), as usual. Fever coach Stephanie White said Clark would likely be probable going forward after the league issued a warning to Indiana for improper reporting practices with Clark’s back in May.
