According to the latest updates, Udinese’s Oumar Solet and Roma’s Mancini are the two leading options for Inter at centre-back as things stand.
Mancini will be heading into the final year of his contract at the Stadio Olimpico this summer, and there is hope from the Nerazzurri camp that this means he will be available for a cut-price fee. Roma have been in talks over a possible extension of Mancini’s contract, expiring in 2027, but have not yet reached an agreement.
Now, according to updates from Gianluca Di Marcio and Sky Sport Italia, in an attempt to lower the price for Mancini even further, Inter are willing to include midfielder Frattesi in a potential player exchange deal.

Frattesi fell massively down the Nerazzurri pecking order under Cristian Chivu this season, starting just three times in Serie A, three times in the Champions League and three times in the early rounds of the Coppa Italia, and seems increasingly likely to leave San Siro this summer.
Frattesi was born and raised in the Italian capital and spent time with both Lazio and Roma during his youth career. He had three years with the Giallorossi between 2014 and 2017 before moving to Sassuolo.
