Beckham will work out with the Giants on Monday, so there is a high chance that he could get signed. The NFL world was quick to react to the potential reunion.
As Sam Block of ESPN said on X, “This and the Knicks in the NBA Finals. Wow.” PFSN’s Alex Kennedy tweeted something along the same lines, “What a time to be a New York sports fan. The Knicks are in the NBA Finals and OBJ is potentially returning to the Giants.”
One Giants influencer couldn’t contain his excitement, sharing the meme from “The Office” where Michael Scott says “Oh my God! Okay, it’s happening.”
“He’s coming home, tell the world he’s coming home,” posted sports content creator on X.
The last time Beckham played with the Giants was in 2018. During that season, he played 12 games and totaled 1,052 receiving yards.
“It’s Time,” posted one influencer on X with a montage of Beckham’s Giants highlights.

The Giants hired former Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh this offseason. Harbaugh brings a winning record as well as a Super Bowl ring. Beckham would be catching passes from quarterback Jaxson Dart, who generated a ton of hype during his rookie season.
Beckham would be playing alongside wideout Malik Nabers, who is regarded as one of the best young star receivers in the NFL, and free-agent addition Darnell Mooney. Nabers got hurt last year, but in his rookie season in 2024, Nabers was the 15th-best receiver in the league according to PFSN’s WR Impact metric.
The Giants also have tight end Isaiah Likely, who joined New York as a free agent to reunite with Harbaugh. The young core also includes running backs Cam Skattebo, who had an exciting rookie year before he suffered a season-ending injury, and Tyrone Tracy Jr.
While Beckham returning to the Giants would be a fun storyline, it remains to be seen how effective he’d be. The last time Beckham had 1,000 receiving yards was in 2019, so he might not be as a big as a factor as some might think.
Still, Beckham would be a fan favorite returning to New York, adding even more excitement to a team that is trying to take a major leap forward in 2026.
