NFL.com writer Adam Rank does his mock draft a little bit differently. Rather than trying to predict what a team will do, he lists what each team SHOULD do in the draft. For the Titans, Rank says they should draft Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love.
Since allowing Derrick Henry to walk in free agency, Tennessee has gone 3-14 in consecutive seasons. This might feel like dating someone who looks like your ex, but the pick makes way too much sense. You need some weapons to help second-year QB Cam Ward develop, Titans. If you don’t want to do this for me, do it for him.
Rank isn't alone in his thought process. There are many analysts, beat reports, writers, bloggers, and outlets that believe the Titans will select Love, but Rank says they should draft him. That doesn't mean they will, of course.
The Titans need a boost in a lot of areas, and truthfully, no matter who they select at No. 4, the team will be improved. If it's Love, if it's Sonny Styles, if it's Rueben Bain, or David Bailey, it doesn't matter. All of them make the Titans roster better immediately.
