Even without star Jayson Tatum for the majority of the regular season, Boston has clinched a playoff berth for the 12th season in a row. The Celtics will be one of the top seeds in the Eastern Conference thanks in part to how well they played this year, but also to how much the rest of the playoff teams in the conference have struggled.

With the regular season winding down, Boston is locked in as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. This means that the Celtics will play the No. 7 seed in the first round. While not much movement can happen for Boston, the Celtics' seed could be important when it comes to later rounds of the playoffs and home-court advantage.

Here is an updated look at the Celtics' playoff scenarios and standings.
