When asked about who he wants to fight next, he told DAZN: “I mean, I wanted a [Flip] Hrgovic fight, but obviously he’s doing his thing. Man, I’d want [Oleksandr] Usyk as well. I wouldn’t turn that fight down.”
His confidence reflects a rise fuelled by brutal knockout performances and growing belief he is ready for the division’s elite.
The Franklin win was viewed as a key test, but Itauma passed it emphatically.
Moses Itauma’s targets are not available immediately
Despite his callouts, both targets already have commitments in place.
Hrgovic is scheduled to face Dave Allen on May 16 as he rebuilds towards title contention.
Usyk, meanwhile, is set for a high-profile crossover bout against Rico Verhoeven on May 23.
Those timelines delay any immediate showdown.
However, Itauma’s trajectory suggests those fights may only be a matter of time.
