The Steelers signed Woods last offseason, but ultimately decided to release him after training camp. He did not appear in any regular season games this past season, and the last time he played in one was with the Houston Texans in 2024.

The Buffalo Bills selected Woods in the 2013 NFL Draft, where he played for four seasons before joining the Los Angeles Rams, where he spent five seasons. He then had a one-season stint with the Tennessee Titans and played two seasons with the Texans.

Woods suffered an ACL tear during the middle of the 2021 season and wasn’t on the field when the Rams clinched the Super Bowl in February 2022. However, he played a crucial role in helping Los Angeles regain its status as one of the NFL’s top organizations during his time there.

The 33-year-old wide receiver wrapped up his career with 683 receptions, totaling 8,233 yards and 38 touchdowns over 171 games played.

Even though Woods didn’t have the chance to play in any meaningful games with the Steelers, his time in Pittsburgh is still a part of his NFL journey.
