Trojans will face former Pac-12 rival (other than Oregon) this season
· Yahoo Sports
This season, the USC Trojans will get to reunite with their former Pac-12 rivals at home, which is always a plus. However, both the Oregon Ducks and the Washington Huskies can knock them off. To make matters worse, the Trojans have to face their rivals in back-to-back weeks.

In a recent article, Caden Handwork rates the Trojans' matchup versus the Huskies as their third-toughest game at home. Here is what he had to say about the clash:
"Following their matchup against Oregon, the Trojans will face another one of their former Pac-12 rivals at the Coliseum, the Washington Huskies. Following a 9-4 season, coach Jedd Fisch’s Huskies group looks to build off their success with the return of starting quarterback Demond Williams Jr.
The Huskies are capable of going into the Coliseum and knocking off the Trojans, especially with the star power of Williams. The last time the Trojans and Huskies faced off, Washington beat USC 26-21 at Husky Stadium in 2024."
Washington has the talent to knock off some really good teams with a Heisman candidate at quarterback in Demond Williams Jr. The Trojans get to face them at home, which bodes well because Washington was elite at home and subpar on the road. If the Trojans want to see postseason success, it starts with beating their rivals at home.
