Arizona Cardinals to report to training camp on July 22

· Yahoo Sports

The Arizona Cardinals have not announced their training camp schedule yet, but head coach Mike LaFleur made it known when players would report. Canceling the final practice of mandatory minicamp, he mentioned July 22 as the date players would report for training camp.

The Cardinals, along with the Carolina Panthers, will report to training camp a week earlier than the rest of the league because they play in the Hall of Fame Game on Aug. 6.

As such, the earliest they can report is July 22. That is the general reporting date. Veteran quarterbacks and injured players can report as many as five days before the official report date, and rookies/first-year players can be asked to report up to seven days ahead of the official report date, although we don't know yet whether the Cardinals will have other players arrive beforehand.

The part for fans to watch out for is the schedule of practices at State Farm Stadium and how many will be open to fans to see this summer. That will surely be coming before the end of the month.
