Miami Dolphins mandatory minicamp: Day 2: Malik Willis 40-yd TD strike

MIAMI GARDENS ― The Miami Dolphins held a mandatory minicamp on Wednesday, June 3, at the Baptist Health Training Complex.

The Dolphins will have another mandatory practice on Thursday, June 4, and the final practice open to media is slated for next Tuesday, June 9.

*JuJu Brents nearly intercepted a sideline overthrow by Malik Willis.

*Jalen Tolbert caught an intermediate route from Malik Willis.

*Linebacker Ronnie Harrison nearly intercepted Quinn Ewers over the middle.

*The Dolphins practiced through some brief but heavy rains.

*Malik Willis threaded one between three defenders to Malik Washington over the middle.

*Quinn Ewers and A.J. Henning connected for a medium gainer.

*JuJu Brents nearly intercepted Malik Willis on a bomb. He also may have been flagged on the play.

*Tutu Atwell caught a laser beam from Malik Willis.

*Malik Willis overthrew Donaven McCulley on a deep ball.

*Greg Dulcich caught a pass over the middle from Quinn Ewers.

*Malik Washington caught a short pass from Malik Willis that was thrown behind him.

*Malik Willis overthrew Jalen Tolbert near the sideline.

*Malik Willis hit Jalen Tolbert on the sideline.

*Malik Willis hit tight end Ben Sims for a 40-yard touchdown on 11-on-11. The Dolphins worked on situational drives with less than two minutes.

*Tutu Atwell caught an intermediate route from Quinn Ewers.

*Malik Willis continues to try to work on timing, rhythm and chemistry with his new receivers.

*Former Dolphins coach Dave Wannstedt attended practice again.
