During the two-day programme, faculty members of IIM Ranchi will engage in discussions and practical sessions on the effective use of case studies in classrooms, techniques for facilitating meaningful discussions, and methods to create more interactive and engaging learning experiences for students. Prof. Emmons is an internationally recognised expert in case method teaching and has been leading the Christensen Center since 2004. Through the center, he promotes teaching excellence and innovation at Harvard Business School and supports educators across the world in adopting participant-centred learning approaches. Before joining the Christensen Center, Prof. Emmons served as Associate Professor at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business, where he received the Graduate Teaching Award in 2003. He has also taught at Harvard Business School and worked extensively with corporate leaders, educational institutions, and governments on issues related to business strategy and policy.
