The 2026 NBA Finals are here, and the whole basketball community is excited. But before Jalen Brunson and Victor Wembanyama trade buckets on the hardwood, a four-legged forecaster already has her verdict in and Knicks fans might not love what she saw.

Game 1 tips off Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. ET from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, broadcast on ABC. It is a rematch of the 1999 Finals that the Spurs won. New York is making its first Finals appearance since that series, chasing its first championship since 1973.

The Knicks stormed through the Eastern Conference, highlighted by a franchise-record 11 straight postseason victories and an incredibly dominant +19.4 overall playoff point differential. San Antonio, meanwhile, had a grind of a WCF run, outlasting the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder in a brutal, thrilling seven-game series.

Most experts, including Hall of Famer Charles Barkley, favor coach Mike Brown's squad because of New York's dominant playoff run. Speaking on ESPN Radio’s Freddie and Harry, Barkley bucked the betting markets to pick the Knicks, stating their postseason momentum is simply too much to overcome.

However, a viral Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Lilo predicts a different outcome. Known online as "Air Corgi," "Steph Furry," or "Fluffy Mamba," she gained massive attention after correctly predicting all seven games of the Spurs-Thunder Western Conference Finals. Lilo makes her picks by bouncing balls down a staircase into labeled baskets.

Lilo has now predicted the NBA Finals will go seven games, with San Antonio winning the series 4-3. When SNY Knicks shared the clip on Tuesday, it quickly racked up over 318,000 views, sparking a wave of frustrated replies from New York fans.

One fan wrote, “This dog is always wrong.. it had atlanta beating us, and then philly.”

Another added, “Knicks win you better put that dogs balls in a jar.”

A third viewer penned, “🤣 NYers and their laundry, now they hate dogs. Hope the Spurs win now.”

The fourth one claimed, “Well it’s a good thing nobody cares what a corgi has to say.”

A random X user remarked, “I said this dog full of — when he had the Knicks up 2-1 😂😂😂”

Lilo is probably wrong. Still, she got every single game of the Thunder series right and some fans are choosing to trust her track record.
