Bayern Munich crashed out of the UEFA Champions League not so long ago, gracefully one could say, but some players still have reasons to root for the teams playing in the final today.

In a recent interview captured by @iMiaSanMia, Bayern midfielder Joshua Kimmich has revealed his plans to support Arsenal in their upcoming final, and the reason comes down to his teammate Kai Havertz. The midfielder is clearly hoping that a major victory on the big stage will provide a massive boost for their shared ambitions in the national team setup.
“I’m crossing the fingers for Kai that he joins us on the back of a success,” Kimmich explained. “A title like that creates positive energy. He’s an important player for us and is underrated in Germany. He was crucial at the Euros because he brings a fantastic all-around package that will help us.”
It is easy to see why Kimmich is backing his fellow international here. A win for Havertz would not just be a personal milestone, but it would also serve as a vital momentum builder for the German national team. Kimmich recognizes that Havertz often does not get the credit he deserves from the German public, despite consistently showing his value on the pitch. Having a player with that kind of confidence and high-level experience returning to the fold could be a real difference maker.
Do you agree with Kimmich that Havertz is underrated, or are you rooting against Arsenal in the final? Let us know in the comments!
