Liverpool are interested in signing Kennet Eichhorn and could still loan him out to a Bundesliga club.

Reports indicate that Arne Slot’s side has already snapped up Samuel Martinez on a five-year deal, with the South American set to officially join in the summer of 2027.
Kennet Eichhorn is firmly on Liverpool’s radar
Money should be no issue for a club with the riches the likes of Liverpool and Manchester City possess.
Particularly given the fact that Hertha Berlin have set the teenager’s price tag at £10.3m.
“It is TRUE: Liverpool are interested in Kennet Eichhorn, and there have already been talks over a transfer,” German transfer news expert Christian Falk exclusively confirmed with CF Bayern Insider.
“It’s the same situation Manchester City are facing in that he’s not allowed to play in England until he turns 18. But Liverpool want to save the player, as do City and Bayern Munich, but both Premier League clubs have to give him away on loan for the time being. He can sign a contract when he’s 18. That’s a big question for German clubs, as it’s a gamble, given he’s only 16. Bayern are prepared to bet on Eichhorn and give him a contract.
“He’s got a big transfer fee attached (for German clubs, less so for English clubs) of €12m [£10.3m]. But there’s also a signing fee, and the player’s salary demands are not quite small (given the number of offers on the table). Such to the point that even Borussia Dortmund are saying it’s too much for them. And if it’s a problem for Dortmund, you can bet it will be a problem for RB Leipzig.”
But there’s no question that this would represent a disappointment for a club like Bayern Munich that needs to push serious funds towards bolstering the forward line this summer.

Likewise, if there are opportunities for surgery in the back four, Vincent Kompany’s men would be well-advised to consider options in both fullback positions.
It’s not necessarily the end of the world for Bayern Munich
Midfield is the one department in which Bayern Munich can rest easy.
They already have a settled trio that is ideally comprised of Joshua Kimmich, Jamal Musiala and Aleksandar Pavlović. And don’t forget the rising stars of Tom Bischof and Lennart Karl.
But there has to be some concern, perhaps, with Leon Goretzka’s impending departure that Bayern’s depth could be called into question next term.
Eichhorn’s availability, potentially secured for such an advantageous price, would go some way to offsetting such fears, while also helping secure the long-term future of our midfield.
But as Vincent Kompany’s men are currently discovering with Anthony Gordon, Premier League interest in a top talent can immensely complicate matters!
