It's decision day in the Norman super regional as Oklahoma and Mississippi State face off for a trip to the Women's College World Series.

After the Bulldogs opened the series with a win, the Sooners bounced back in emphatic fashion Saturday to force a Game 3. Now the SEC rivals will play one last time.

This weekend marks the 16th consecutive year that Oklahoma softball will appear in the super regionals — this program is no stranger to a high-stakes environment. The Sooners had a very strong performance throughout regionals, sweeping the competition and outscoring opponents 28-1.

This series will mark a homecoming of sorts for Mississippi State coach Samantha Ricketts, who played for the Sooners from 2005-09. Now leading the Bulldogs, State swept the Eugene regional, defeating host Oregon and Saint Mary's twice.
