According to the lawyer, when he reached the courtroom and objected, he was allegedly pushed, after which Samarth Singh ran away from the room and moved towards the Bar Association chamber.
Srivastava also alleged that no police personnel were present at the spot despite Samarth Singh being accused in a serious dowry death case. He appealed to the police to immediately arrest him and take strict action.

The development came after Samarth Singh reached the Jabalpur District Court nearly 10 days after the case was registered. His lawyers had informed the court that he wanted to surrender, but reports said the court asked him to surrender before the concerned court in Bhopal or before the investigating officer.
Later, police took Samarth Singh into custody from the court premises.
After days of public pressure, social media outrage and a forced CBI transfer, the MP police had finally taken Twisha Sharma's husband into custody. His bar license has also been suspended.
