Jesús Made, the 19-year-old Milwaukee Brewers phenom minted a week ago as the top prospect in all of Major League Baseball, lined a walk-off winner to the wall May 19 for Class AA Biloxi, giving the Shuckers a 4-3 win over the Montgomery Biscuits.

It went into the books as a single, even though the ball hit the warning track and bounded over the wall. It marked the second two-hit performance for Made over the past three games, with his two-homer game May 16.

The Shuckers loaded the bases in the bottom of the ninth on a hit batter, walk and bunt single, and after Dylan O'Rae had a flyout, Made stepped to the plate against Montgomery pitcher Jairo Iriarte.

The opposite-field laser made a winner of Stiven Cruz, who allowed one hit over two innings with four strikeouts. Cruz, who played for Nicaragua in the World Baseball Classic before the season, has a 3-1 record and 2.38 ERA.

Blake Burke, one of the Brewers' first-round picks in 2024, drove in two runs and ran his team-leading RBI total into 29. He also recorded his 13th stolen base.

Braylon Payne homers twice for Wisconsin

It was a notable day on the farm May 19 overall. Playing for the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Class High A), outfield prospect Braylon Payne homered twice in a 6-4 win over the Great Lakes Loons.

Payne, who was taken before Burke in that 2024 first round, now has 10 homers, already a career high after he hit eight last year in Class A Carolina. Payne has a .997 OPS (on-base plus slugging) at age 19, with 18 RBIs and nine stolen bases.

Andrew Fischer, the first-round pick in 2025, also had a home run for his 11th of the year in the win. He finished 3 for 5 and has a .975 OPS. Fischer's blast left the stadium.

Nashville rallies with five-run ninth to win

Freddy Zamora hit his first home run of the year, a three-run blast that tied the game in the ninth, and Luis Lara drove in the go-ahead run in a five-run inning that helped the Class AAA Nashville Sounds win an eighth straight game. The result: A 6-5 win over Durham on May 19.

Cooper Pratt and Jett Williams, two spotlighted prospects who could find their way to Milwaukee soon, went only a combined 1 for 10 in the game, though Pratt's single came in the winning rally in the ninth.

Lara (.952 OPS) finished with two hits.

Brady Ebel hits first professional home run

Not to be outdone by his fellow first-round picks, Class A infielder Brady Ebel, one of the team's first-round picks in 2025, hit his first professional home run May 19 with the Wilson Warbirds.

The three-run homer helped Wilson record a 14-8 win over Delmarva. Though Ebel struggled early in his pro career, the 18-year-old now has hits in five straight games, including three straight multi-hit efforts, with an extra-base hit in each of those three.

José Anderson hit two homers for Wilson; the 19-year-old now has 10 on the season.
