The Super Bowl is coming to Nashville in 2030. Major League Baseball has been eyeing the city. Will the PGA Tour be next?

On May 19, the day the NFL announced Super Bowl 64 would be played at the new Nissan Stadium, the Sports Business Journal reported that Nashville is one of the cities being considered to host a future PGA Tour event.
The media outlet reported that Boston, Denver, Philadelphia and San Francisco also are candidates on a list that will be whittled to three.
The expansion into bigger markets is part of a two-tiered plan by the PGA to make some major changes.
Where would a PGA Tour event be played in Nashville?
There have been no reports yet about where the event could be held.
