Crazy stat shows Rams' schedule is littered with recent Super Bowl champs
· Yahoo Sports
There will be a lot of championship pedigree when the Los Angeles Rams take the field during the 2026 season. A recent Super Bowl champion themselves, the Rams are set to face every team that has won the Super Bowl since 2019.

Granted, three of the last seven champions have been the Kansas City Chiefs, but the Rams will face the other three teams that have won it all (besides themselves) since 2019, too.
Those three other teams are the Seahawks, Eagles and Buccaneers. Take a look at the recent champions that the Rams will face below.
- Seattle Seahawks (2025)
- Philadelphia Eagles (2024)
- Kansas City Chiefs (2023)
- Kansas City Chiefs (2022)
- Los Angeles Rams (2021)
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2020)
- Kansas City Chiefs (2019)
If you go back even further, the Rams will actually face every Super Bowl champion not named the Patriots (or the Rams) since 2013. The Seahawks won in 2013, the Broncos won in 2015 and the Eagles won in 2017; Los Angeles will face all three this season.
The Patriots, who the Rams don't face this season, won the Super Bowl in 2014, 2016 and 2018.
Obviously, all of those teams have changed dramatically since they last won the Super Bowl, but many of the same coaches are still there, as are the quarterbacks. Patrick Mahomes, Jalen Hurts and Sam Darnold are three Super Bowl-champion quarterbacks on Los Angeles' schedule, as are Mike Macdonald, Nick Sirianni and Andy Reid at head coach.
