Justin Rose casually leaked Chelsea's new jerseys with his PGA Championship fit

· Yahoo Sports

In the soccer world, clubs are pretty secretive about their annual kit releases. They have entire rollouts planned and promotional videos with the jersey partner. It's a whole thing.

Justin Rose operates on his own timeline apparently.

As the pro golfer rolled up on Thursday for the opening round of the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania, Chelsea fans certainly took notice to Rose's fit. He was wearing a long-sleeve replica of Chelsea's 2026-27 jersey, which hasn't been unveiled by the club or Nike yet.

But hey, Chelsea takes on Manchester City in the FA Cup Final on Saturday, and Rose clearly wanted to show his support.

Rose — who lives in London — is a huge Chelsea fan and has been known to make occasional appearances at Stamford Bridge. So, he was likely gifted that unreleased jersey by the club.

They probably just didn't expect Rose to wear it out in public before the unveiling took place. Oh well. Secret's out now.

And to be fair, it's the perfect jersey to wear to a golf course. Can't fault Rose at all for that choice.
