There's a video going around of Jacksonville Jaguars TE Nate Boerkircher that has people on social media a little confused.
The second-round pick from Texas A&M was caught on camera getting emotional when he was chosen in the 2026 NFL Draft last week. Beside him, his girlfriend gets caught up in the moment, too.

And, well, that's not really representing the situation well at all, even though it's going quite viral.

Why is this viral?
The reality is that Boerkircher's girlfriend has a very normal reaction.
She gets emotional and happy for his big moment, just as you'd expect she would.
This post is simply misleading, and most of the interactions are actually people pointing out that it's a lame thing to share in this way.
That's actually a new trend that's been showing up in pop culture -- captioning a video with outlandish words that don't actually represent what the footage shows, in hopes of getting interactions by any means possible.
That appears to be what happened with Boerkircher and his girlfriend here. They're simply sharing a happy moment, so everyone can settle down.
