Antetokounmpo and the Bucks are seemingly headed for a divorce, this time with more concrete reporting than in any other offseason.
The player and team had a very public falling-out over his most recent injury, when he claimed he was healthy but the team refused to let him play.
Antetokounmpo ended up not playing, with the team holding him out and the Greek Freak complaining in public about the Bucks not playing him.

Mandatory Credit: Kyle Ross-Imagn ImagesWith a trade coming as he enters the final year of his current deal, the Lakers have been a long-rumored landing spot, especially if he were to name them as his top choice.
However, he has expressed his dismay for the city of LA when appearing on a podcast hosted by guard Goran Dragic, who asked the star if he would rather vacation in Miami or Los Angeles, saying that he would easily choose the Southeast over the West Coast.
“I think LA is superficial. I don’t like LA,” Antetokounmpo said.
If he got the chance to play with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves, while being coached by one of the highly-regarded young coaches in JJ Redick, Antetokounmpo may end up looking past his feelings about the city, but it does likely rule out a direct trade request to the Lakers, making a deal harder to strike, considering LA’s limited trade assets.
