2026 NFL Draft: Raiders mock draft update
· Yahoo Sports
The Las Vegas Raiders haven't won a playoff game in 23 years. This is the second-longest drought in the NFL and something they hope the No. 1 overall pick is going to change. With less than two weeks to the start of the 2026 NFL Draft, we've updated our Raiders three-round mock draft. There's no mystery to the top of the draft for the Raiders, but it could be the players they take in the second or third round that finally break their playoff slump.
First round - QB Fernando Mendoza - Indiana
Mendoza isn't a perfect prospect but he's head-and-shoulders ahead of the rest of this draft class and far better than anyone the Raiders have on their roster. Mendoza has all the tools of a top-tier starting quarterback and his character and football IQ are off the charts.

Second round - DT Christen Miller - Georgia
The Raiders have gone to great lengths to upgrade their linebackers this offseason so we opt for Christen Miller here as the type of player who can line up in front and eat up blockers. Miller plays with rare power for his size and while he's not a pure nose, can work across the interior from guard to guard, giving offensive lineman a battle.
Third round - WR Elijah Sarratt - Indiana
If you are going to spend the No. 1 overall pick on your franchise quarterback, why not bring in one of his favorite weapons in the passing game to help him out? The Raiders don't have much to get excited about at receiver now and the passing game is going to run through tight end Brock Bowers. But Sarratt gives Mendoza a guy he knows he can count on and provides him with a big target who can dominate 50/50 balls.
