Another point guard is set to visit Kentucky later this week

· Yahoo Sports

The Kentucky Wildcats are playing host to a couple of huge visitors on Monday. Point guard Rob Wright III and No. 1 overall recruit Tyran Stokes are visiting Lexington, and would be huge difference makers. However, Mark Pope and his staff continue to set up visits with other targets, and they now have one scheduled with Jalen Cox.

Cox is a 6'3", 180 lb guard who spent his first three years at Colgate, mostly as a starter. Last season, he averaged 17.9 points and 5.3 assists per game. He also shot the ball well, making 37% of his three-point attempts.

Kentucky is hosting Cox for a visit on Wednesday, as reported by Sam Kayser. He comes during a busy week for the Wildcats staff, and a key offseason as well. They have to put together not just talented players, but players that fit together, which is something that never happened last year.

Cox also has visits scheduled with Creighton and Maryland, and has been contacted by other programs as well. Kentucky will get their chance to make an impression, though. We will continue to update this story as it develops.
