Jonathan Cannon is a name that should sound familiar. This will be his third professional season, going 9-20, with a 5.09 ERA in his first two seasons. Cannon in his career against the Royals has pitched 4 times against the Royals. He is 0-2, with a 3.00 ERA, in just 24 innings. He has given up 8 runs, walking 4 and striking out 10. He has also surrendered 2 homers.
Here are the starters behind Grant Taylor, but in all honesty, Jonathan Cannon.

It’s a rainy afternoon in Kansas City, so it’ll be interesting to see if the game gets played. For what it is worth, both teams are off tomorrow. On Tuesday, the Royals are in Detroit, and the White Sox are home for Tampa Bay. Anyways, let’s hope they play today and the Royals offense awakes from hibernation. First pitch is currently set for 1:10 p.m. CT. The game can be streamed on Royals.TV.
