The Big 12 announced all of its weeknight contests on Friday, meaning the Territorial Cup will be played on Saturday, Nov. 28 as it was listed when the 2026 schedule was formally released in January.
Having the TCU game a day earlier only adds to an already difficult stretch for the Wildcats, who six days earlier will have played at defending Big 12 champ Texas Tech on Halloween. A week after TCU is Utah at home.
TCU will be making its first trip to Tucson since 2003, when the Horned Frogs eeked out a 13-10 win that turned out to be the final game of the ill-fated John Mackovic era. Arizona played at TCU in its first Big 12 season in 2024, losing 49-28.
The Frogs are coached by former UA offensive coordinator Sonny Dykes, who recently signed a contract extension. Dykes was at Arizona from 2007-09 under Mike Stoops.
