For Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats, they are now entering the most important offseason to date as they look to bounce back from a disappointing campaign in 2025-26. With that also comes a need to flip the roster back to a team that fits the style Pope is trying to play.
With plenty of players already being connected to Kentucky, we can now add another name that has heard from the Cats in Purdue Fort Wayne guard Corey Hadnot II. Sam Kayser of Kayser Hoops was the first to report the news.
The 6-3, 175-pound Hadnot has also been contacted by Houston, Alabama, St Johns, Auburn, Ohio State, and several others. He’s set to have one season of eligibility remaining.
A first-team All-Horizon League player, Hadnot averaged 20.4 PPG on 52% shooting from the field, including 36% from three. He also added 4.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.
With plenty of spots open in the backcourt, Hadnot now becomes a name worth monitoring as we move forward over the next two weeks.
