Former Alabama forward Naas Cunningham reportedly intends to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens, per The Field of 68.
Cunningham redshirted during his freshman year at Alabama in 2024-25. The talented forward averaged five points, 1.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists over 13.3 minutes per game at UNLV this past season, as Cunningham struggled to make a true impact in an extremely limited role with the Rebels.

The former Crimson Tide forward will more than likely be a name to watch in the transfer portal throughout the offseason, as Cunningham will look for an increased role on a new team in 2026-27 after appearing in only 21 combined games the last two seasons.
Prior to Alabama, Cunningham was ranked as the No. 12 small forward and the No. 45 overall player from the class of 2024, per 247Sports. He was ranked as the No. 5 overall player from the state of California as well where he attended SoCal Academy.
Cunningham is an extremely talented player that could potentially flourish with a new program during his redshirt sophomore campaign, as the former Crimson Tide forward has now seen his time at UNLV come to an end after one season.
