Ohio State basketball guard to compete in 3-point shooting contest

Ohio State guard Bruce Thornton's career may be over in Columbus, but he's not quite done competing in the Scarlet and Gray, because according to an announcement on social media on Saturday, he'll compete in a three-point shooting contest as a part of the Final Four festivities next weekend.

Thornton will be one of six participants competing at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPN on April 5 at the Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, as part of the College 3-point Championship.
Thornton finished his OSU career as the all-time leading scorer in Ohio State basketball history with 2,164 points and made 40% of his 3-point shots this past season (62-of-155). He'll be competing alongside High Point’s Chase Johnston, Texas Tech’s Donovan Atwell, Oklahoma State’s Anthony Roy, SMU’s Boopie Miller, and Samford’s Jadin Booth.
