Plenty of accolades for Wisconsin women's hockey team on social media

Another season, another women's hockey championship for the Wisconsin Badgers.

Claire Enright's goal with 6:18 remaining in the third period gave UW a 3-2 victory over Ohio State and a second straight national title. It was was also UW's third in four seasons and ninth overall.

How dominant have the Badgers been? It is the fifth trophy for the program since 2019.

And since this award stuff is sounding repetitive after a repeat national chip, let's throw in that four members of this 2026 UW team have already won Olympic gold with the U.S. women's hockey team.

That's a lot of metal for Caroline Harvey, Laila Edwards, Kirsten Sims and Ava McNaughton – and mettle.

McNaughton was also named the most outstanding player of the Frozen Four after recording 34 saves in the title matchup.
