TJ Parker with Interesting landing spot in Jeremiah's latest mock

TJ Parker is the most polarizing prospect for Clemson in this year's class.

He's seen as high as 20th overall in some mocks (including the one we're talking about) and outside the first round in others (Mel Kiper's, for example). His lackluster final season does not translate to a first-round prospect, but an incredible Sophomore campaign and Senior Bowl showing make it difficult for some teams to pass up on the EDGE rusher with their first pick.

Daniel Jeremiah has Parker going 20th to the Cowboys (via the Micah Parsons trade with Green Bay), citing his standout Senior Bowl performance. Parker would be an excellent pairing alongside Rashaun Gary and next to Quinnen Williams, both recently acquired by the Cowboys.

With Dallas having a first-time Defensive Coordinator, a second-year head coach, and a revamped defensive line, where and how Parker fits the system is not as clear-cut as with other teams. However, we know Parker can shine at defensive end in both a 3-4 and a 4-3, and expect Dallas to run a 3-4 for the majority of the season. A player that is so schematically transcendent is perfect for Dallas at this time, and makes Parker an elite first-round pick for the Cowboys.
