Details for Auburn basketball's NIT round two matchup revealed

The Auburn Tigers now know who they will play, and when, in round two of the 2026 NIT.
Auburn basketball will play round two of the NIT Tournament against Seattle on Sunday, March 22, and will be broadcast on ESPN2.

The Tigers are set to host the Seattle Redhawks Sunday, March 22, at Neville Arena in Auburn, Alabama, at 5:30 p.m. CT. It is the first time these two will meet on the hardwood. The Redhawks are the No. 4 seed in the tournament. They are coming off a round one victory over St. Thomas, 67-52.
Seattle finished seventh in the West Coast Conference with a 21-13 record and an 8-10 record in the conference. The team's leading scorer is Brayden Maldonado with an average of 14.4 points per game.
Head coach Steven Pearl is expected to give a preview of the Redhawks on Friday, Mar. 20, at a 12:30 presser. Later on Sunday, Oklahoma State hosts Wichita State at 7:30 p.m. CT. The winner of Auburn-Seattle will face the Liberty-Nevada winner on either March 24 or 25.
