If the start of the NCAA Tournament can't provide enough college basketball action for you, it's time to turn your attention toward the National Invitation Tournament.

This year's edition of the NIT will begin on Tuesday with a slate of seven first-round games. Liberty and George Mason will meet in the first contest of the night, and UNLV and UC Irvine will close out the evening with a West Coast matchup.

No. 1 seed Auburn will also hit the court after being left out of the March Madness field. The Tigers will attempt to shake off a disappointing end to the regular season and make a deep run in this tournament.

Here is everything you need to know about today's schedule, including tipoff times and TV and streaming options for NIT games.
