Green said the media had a double standard with Harrison after he traded the Slovenian player to the Lakers because he didn’t like some of Doncic’s habits. Green noted that many of the people who criticized Harrison didn’t apologize to him despite noticing the same things the former general manager did.

Smith didn’t appreciate Green’s comment and said the Warriors star “was very wrong.” On Wednesday, “The Draymond Green Show” shared a clip on Instagram of the player clapping back at Smith and his lack of accountability.

“The problem that I have is we’re calling for all this accountability, but all these guys just get to say things and there’s zero accountability. There’s zero accountability when it comes to me. Just literally get to throw sh*t at a wall and see if it sticks. Zero accountability.

“But always want to hold others accountable. I don’t understand. Like these guys don’t have to answer for these awful a** takes they make. How wrong they be in most situations. But these are experts. I don’t understand it. It’s the only thing you can become an expert in and never have any experience with the game.”

Before going off on Smith, Draymond Green didn’t mince words about the city of Memphis. After Anthony Edwards called the hotels in Memphis “dirty,” Green echoed those remarks.

“[Anthony Edwards] is pretty blunt about it, but yeah,” Green said. “We had an issue there where we used to stay at one hotel in Memphis, and this dates back. We stopped staying there because their sprinklers just went off for no reason in the room. Drenched all of [Andrew] Bogut’s stuff, and they didn’t want to do anything about it. So, we switched hotels then, right? So, it’s been an issue.”

The Grizzlies tried to become villains a couple of seasons ago. They might be now, but not for on-court reasons.
