Training Report: Bayern Munich’s Michael Olise, Aleksandar Pavlović sit out; Young players get chance to step up; Manuel Neuer grinds for comeback
· Yahoo Sports
According to a report from Sky Germany journalist Kerry Hau, Bayern Munich stars Aleksandar Pavlović and Michael Olise sat out the team’s training session for loan management. Meanwhile, youngsters like midfielder Allen Junior Lambé, defender Filip Pavić, and midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye all got a chance to showcase themselves in the session:
Michael Olise and Aleksandar Pavlovic are sitting out today’s FC Bayern team training session. Load management ahead of the Klassiker, it is reported. There are no injuries. Konrad Laimer is training fully again, just like on Monday. In addition, the youth players Allen Junior Lambé (17) and Filip Pavić (16) as well as winter newcomer Bara Sapoko Ndiaye (18) are getting a chance to show what they can do.

Load management is a convenient excuse to use for just about anything when injury designations are not regulated. Hopefully, it really is just rest for Pavlović and Olise, who are both indispensable parts of the starting XI. Olise has been productive all season, but has had some periods where he has looked weary and Pavlović’s recent workload has been heavy, especially as the squad has been in some very physical games of late.
Laimer being a full participant in training is key, so that is a big positive for the Bavarians.
Neuer working hard to have chance to play vs. BVB

Throw your tinfoil hat on…is Neuer working so hard to get back for this game because it will be the last time he plays in Der Klassiker? Hmmm…
