The Gunners eased past their North London neighbours, courtesy of braces from Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres. Here are all the best stats from a memorable Arsenal win on enemy soil.

  • Eberechi Eze's opening goal for Arsenal was his first in the Premier League since scoring against Tottenham in November. Eze had gone 11 league games without a goal for the Gunners. Amazingly, his opener was also his first shot on target in the Premier League since scoring his hat-trick goal against Spurs back in November.
  • Eze is only the second player to score 4+ goals in North London derbies in a single league campaign. The previous player to achieve the feat was Ted Drake, in 1934-35.
  • After his five goals against Spurs this season, only four players have ever scored more North London derby goals than Eze in the Premier League era; Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Emmanuel Adebayor and Robert Pires. Eze's five goals have matched the North London derby hauls of Thierry Henry, Gareth Bale and Robin van Persie.
  • Arsenal's 4-1 win was the club's largest away league win at Tottenham for 48 years, when the Gunners won 5-0 in December 1978.
  • Arsenal have won both league meetings with Tottenham by 3+ goals in the same season for only the second time. The previous time occurred in 1934-35.
  • No Premier League player has scored more goals than Viktor Gyokeres across all competitions in 2026 (8).
  • Igor Tudor is the first Tottenham manager to lose their first Premier League game in over a decade. The previous nine managers were all unbeaten in their first fixture. Andres Villas-Boas was the last head coach to lose on debut, in August 2012.
